Jorge Aguilar II is responsible for Powerlane’s legal and risk management functions. He joined Powerlane at its inception in 2013. Prior to joining Powerlane, Jorge II was engaged in the private practice of law at Sundeen Salinas & Pyle with an emphasis on litigation and employment law. Jorge II also spent four years at a non-profit law corporation where he provided legal assistance to low-income and indigent members of the community. Jorge II’s work was recognized by the State Bar of California in 2007 when he was awarded the Jack Berman Award for distinguished service to the profession and public. Jorge II studied Political Science at Dominican University of California and earned his law degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law. Jorge II is married and is the proud father of two daughters.
